Damon is supposedly 5'10"-5'9".
Evans is 6"0'.
Given the gear, boots, cinematography, etc., they'd look the same size-wise playing Cap.
The fact that he's a liberal has nothing to do with it really. Even though Captain America would declare himself a libertarian, most likely he would have left tendencies considering the era he grew up in (even though it was called conservatism back then...)
So whoever Evans is, is better than him. for that I am grateful.
I just hope the movie is not a hippy rant propaganda film.

People like you ruin movies (or anything else for that matter...) for yourselves by looking for ideas, messages, criticisms, and/or comments that only exist because you want them to exist— for the mere fact as so it can be dismissed, mistreated, discriminated, or to serve a generalized concept that is "agreeable."
This is basically the whole rationalization behind your deviantart account.
And by the looks of the proverbial "it," deviantart is also "ruined" by me.

I love the atmosphere, the level of realism, the grainy washed-out colors and the old, worn paper complete with ripped edges and creases. It really conveys a sense of realness, as if you found the poster blowing down the street and scanned it into the computer. Brilliant. Well done
